How do I find an event on ORbike.com?
There are several ways to find an event on our site. The first option is to go to www.ORbike.com and select the type of biking event that you are interested in from the left-side navigation bar titled "Calendars." The second option is typing in the name or type of event into the keyword search on the home page. If you can't find what you are looking for, double-check your spelling and search again. If problems persist, feel free to contact us at info@orbike.com.

How do I register online with ORbike.com?
Once you've accessed, www.ORbike.com, and you selected the event you'd like to register for, click on the "Register Now" button. This will take you to the first page of registration. Once you understand the waiver page, click the "Continue" button. This will take you to the second page of registration. Fill out the registration form.

When finished, click the "Continue" button. This will take you to the payment summary page.
If you need to make a correction, click "edit" in the payment summary. If you want to delete the registration, click "delete."
To register someone else, for another category, or for another event, you will find the appropriate buttons below the payment summary.
When you are ready to checkout, fill out the billing information starting with credit card type: WE ONLY TAKE VISA AND MASTERCARD. No American Express or Discover cards. Personal checks are not accepted.
When done filling out the billing information, click the "Pay Now" button. Your payment will be processed through our online bank.
If your registration and payment are successful, a confirmation screen will appear. You should print out your receipt from this page.
Congratulations! You have just successfully registered.

What is ORbike.com's return/cancellation policy?
ORbike.com has a "No return" policy. Once you purchase the registration for an event, you cannot return or cancel that purchase.

How do I edit my registration?
You can edit/correct registrations before submitting your payment by clicking the "edit" button next to the appropriate registration in the Cart Summary area (above where you enter in your billing information). This will bring up a new window where you can make any corrections in the registration form. When finished, click on the "Update" button to submit the changes. You will be brought back to the Payment Summary Page where you can record more registrations or fill out the billing information and pay.

Why do I get an error that tells me I am already registered?
You may have already tried registering for that category. Click on the "View Shopping Cart" button to see what you already have in your shopping cart for payment. If that registration is correct, you may continue. If it is not, you can edit it or delete the entry altogether by clicking on the appropriate button on the payment summary.

If you were trying to register another person when getting that message, click on the "View Shopping Cart" button and review the registration. Choose the appropriate button below the payment summary to register for another category (within the same event), register someone else, register a minor, or register for another event. Then you may continue the registration process.

Why do I get an error that says my session has expired?
Our site has multiple security measures to ensure the safety of your information. One is to time out a registration when one page has been left idle for too long. Our system reads this as an abandoned registration and prevents that registration from proceeding to ensure that someone else does not submit your information without authorization. You will have to start the registration process over. You do this by clicking on the link in the error message that says, "click here." This will pop up a new window that signs you out of the previous session and allows you to begin a new registration session.

How do I know if my registration was successful?
After submitting your payment, it will take a little while to process. Once the transaction is completed, a screen will appear that states, "Congratulations, your registration was successful. ORBIKE.COM REGISTRATION will appear on your credit card statement." It will also give you a confirmation number (confirming your registration and transaction). There is a link that when you click on it, you can print out your receipt-we recommend you do this as the receipt is for your records and it also has your confirmation number on it.

You should also receive some re-confirmation e-mails that re-confirm payment and registration. The e-mails are sent to the address entered in on each person's registration form. Payment re-confirmations go to the person who processed the registration(s). The e-mails are automatically sent by our system, and as with any e-mail, they have the chance of going undelivered due to a technical problem.

Should I create a username and password?
Creating a username and password on ORbike.com will make future registrations easier by keeping some of your information on file for the next time you register online. All you have to do is log in before beginning your next registration, and when you go to fill out the form, some of your information will already be filled out for you.

Why do I get an error when trying to create my username and password?
That message means that one of our other users has created a profile using that username. Our system does not allow identical user ID's. Try another version of that username or a different one altogether. Make sure you write down your username and password once it is established so that you may use it in the future.

I forgot my username and password. What do I do?
You can have your username and password e-mailed to you by going to our home page, www.ORbike.com, choosing the appropriate sport, and once on the next page clicking on the "forget your password?" prompt from the menu on the left side (in the blue box at the bottom). Enter in your e-mail address and click "submit."

NOTE: If your username and password are associated with a different e-mail address then the one you are currently using, you will not receive the e-mail, as we may not have the new address associated with your username and password. You will have to contact us to get your userID.

How do I change the information in my profile that appears after I log in?
Go to our site, www.ORbike.com, choose the appropriate sport, and log in on the next page with your username and password. Choose "Edit Profile" from the menu on the left side (in blue box). This will bring up a screen with all of your information. Make any changes necessary and click "Submit." Your profile will have been updated to reflect your changes.

How do I pay for my registration?
We accept Visa and MasterCard as payment for online registration. We do not accept American Express, Discover, cash, or checks. If you would like to register using a form of payment that we do not accept, please contact the event directly either by going to their website or by clicking on the "Contact the event" link from the event details page on ORbike.com.

Is ORbike.com a secure site?
ORbike.com uses a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Credit card numbers are encrypted in our secure database that is located behind a firewall. All personal information collected on ORbike.com is stored in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public. All credit card information supplied by users is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Are there any additional charges to register online?
ORbike.com charges a convenience fee in addition to the event registration fees determined by the event director. This convenience fee pays for the online processing of your credit card transaction. Some events are able to absorb a portion or all of these fees-in this case you will notice no additional charge. Any and all fees are displayed on the site before you submit your credit card information for payment. Once you have registered for the event, there are no refunds.

What's this charge on my credit card that reads, "ORbike.com Registration"?
ORbike.com is the industry leader in online registration for biking events in Oregon. Many people access our site by going to the event's website and clicking on a link to register online. That link actually takes you over to ORbike.com where you fill out the registration form and pay online with your credit card.

How do I view results for an event?
Event directors can post results after each event on their own websites. ORbike.com does not post results on our website.

How do I post a message on your site?
Choose "classifieds" from the top navigation of the home page www.ORbike.com.
From the "browse boards" drop down menu, choose "walking" for example and click "go."
A list of current topics displays. To add a new topic, click the button "new topic."
You are required to login.
You may have to click the "new topic" button again, after logging in.
Type in the name of the topic you want to add such as "walking buddy in my area" and click "submit."
Then you are given a window to add a new posting to this topic. Click submit.
You have now added a new topic with a posting.

How do I contact the event with my question or to get more information?
Go to www.ORbike.com and select the event that you are interested in. You will be brought to the event's detail page where there is a link that reads, "Click here to contact the event." Click on that link to bring up a box that will contain an e-mail form and/or a telephone number for the event.
