ABOUT THE RIDE
Tour de lab is a bicycle tour of the three Lucky Lab brew pubs benefiting Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital. You'll journey along urban routes on this 18 mile ride (the Puppy). But if you feel you really need to earn that pint, you can choose the 30 mile Big Dog course.
At each of the rest stops you'll earn your doggie gear: tail, ears and nose. Once you're fully dogged up, it's time to kick back, relax and enjoy the dog days of summer with your Tour de Lab pint of Lucky Lab's handcrafted ale. The commemorative pint glass is yours to keep.
CHOOSING A ROUTE
Both of the routes on Tour de Lab are excellent tours of Portland. Above all else, this is a fun ride, meant to be an enjoyable tour of Portland and the three Lucky Labrador brew pubs. So please choose a route that suits your riding skill level, comfort and what you're in the mood for on the day of the ride.
40 MILE ROUTE
An excellent tour of Portland wtih some major hill climbing and a lot to see along the way. You'll tour Portland's outer edges. Did we mention hills?
URBAN ROUTE
A great tour of urban Portland, about 18 miles in length. There are some hills in there, mostly to get you to the Lucky Lab in Multnomah Village, nothing too extreme.

HELMETS ARE THE SMART WAY TO RIDE
and they're required for all Tour de Lab participants.
PETS ON COURSE
Out of concern for your pet and other riders, no run-along dogs are allowed, but they are encouraged to lick your face as you cross the finish line. If your dog is friendly to crowds of humans and canines, and has EXPERIENCE being towed or carried, he/she may join us.
