From June through August 2010, North Portland BikeWorks will host Camp Bike Fun. The camp is run in two - three week sessions and takes kids aged 10 - 15 out in the lovely Portland summer on bikes.
Camp Bike Fun will teach bike safety, rules of the road, riding as a group and take them on fun, adventure seeking trips. The fun excursions will take the youth throughout Portland to different community organizations or places of interest.
BikeWorks can provide bikes and helmets if necessary. Some financial aid scholarships are available.
